Ceremonies & Sacred Moments

Life brings moments that ask to be marked — moments of joy and celebration, moments of transition and change, and moments of grief, remembrance, and reflection. Jewish tradition offers a rich language of ritual to help us honor these experiences and give them meaning.

Throughout my years in the rabbinate, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families shape ceremonies that feel authentic, thoughtful, and deeply personal. Sometimes that means drawing on beloved Jewish traditions; other times it means crafting something new that reflects a particular story, family, or moment in life. Usually, it's a combination of both.

I officiate a wide range of ceremonies, including welcoming a new child, B'nai Mitzvah journeys, weddings and commitment ceremonies, end-of-life rituals and funerals, and other meaningful moments that call for blessing or reflection. I also work with people to create more personalized rituals — such as home blessings, ceremonies marking important life transitions, or gatherings that help give voice to joy, healing, or loss.

Each ceremony is created in close conversation with those involved, with care for both tradition and the unique circumstances of the moment. My goal is to help shape experiences that feel genuine, meaningful, and grounded in Jewish wisdom while honoring the lives and stories of the people at the center.

The pages below describe some of the ceremonies I help guide.
