You are welcome here

I believe questions create relationship and engagement, and that spiritual care begins not with solutions, but with presence and conversation. You don't need to arrive with answers, clarity, or the right words. This is a place to come exactly as you are - with questions, uncertainty, faith, doubt, or whatever is on your mind.

Learning Hebrew, Torah,
and Judaism 101

I offer individualized teaching and tutoring in Hebrew (Biblical or Modern), Torah, and "Judaism 101" for learners of all backgrounds. Individual Tutoring
and Group Classes

I offer both one-on-one tutoring and small group classes, available online, by phone, or in-person in the Philadelphia area. Individual sessions allow for focused, personalized learning, while group classes create space for conversation, shared inquiry , and learning together.

Both formats are structured, welcoming, and responsive to participants' interests and experience. Learning spaces are inclusive and affirming, open to people of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations - and to anyone curious and excited to learn!

Lifecycle Ceremonies

I officiate Jewish lifecycle ceremonies, including baby namings and circumcisions (but I'm not a mohel!), B'nai Mitzvah celebrations, inclusive weddings, anniversaries, funerals, and unveilings. Each ceremony is developed collaboratively and thoughtfully, with close attention to meaning, voice, and what truly matters to those involved.

B'nai Mitzvah ceremonies, in particular, are created in partnership with families and students, reflecting each child's values, curiosity, and growing sense of self.

I also help people mark life transitions beyond traditional milestones - such as home dedications, major changes, and moments of passage - offering language and structure for reflection, blessing, and meaning-making.

A Thoughtful Approach
to Spiritual Care

This is a space for meaningful, intentional Jewish spirituality, grounded in real life. I work with people navigating spiritual questions, transitions, uncertainty, and loss; offering presence rather than prescriptions. My approach is reflective, compassionate, and shaped by Jewish wisdom, pastoral experience, and a deep respect for where each person is on their path.

Spiritual care is a collaborative process rooted in trust and respect. You don't have to be certain to reach out. If you're navigating a difficult season, carrying questions, or simply longing for a space to reflect, I would be very glad to have an initial conversation, without pressure or expectation, and discern together what might be helpful.

My Blog - Torah for Real Life

A short blog on the weekly Torah portion

Each week, I will be writing a short post (a "blogette") about the Torah portion that is read all around the Jewish world. It's an ancient text, sure, but does it havc anything to say about modern life, or about the struggles, complexities, joys, and yearnings of everyday people living today? I definitely think so. Even in a short exploration of a single concept in the reading, I believe I can show you what I mean. Come join the discussion!
